Then there was Light!

It arrived yesterday. There was a knock on the door as I was asking Joseph for the fifteenth time to eat his toast before we were late for school again, and at the door was a man holding a gleaming box, I think it had an aura of it's own.

Once I had got Joseph into school (made it on time by the skin of our teeth), I ran home (well almost - I did walk fast) and opened the aforementioned gleaming box of delights.

I wanted to share with you the excitement of opening the box, complete with shredded bills within. Can you guess what it is yet? I think the writing on the box gives it away!

Yes, I decided to hell with it - I'm just going to get a new lamp. I bought it online on Tuesday and yesterday it came - quick eh? Now, if a lap can be gorgeous, then it's the most gorgeous lamp you have ever seen. It emits daylight and everything. And is fully adjustable, as every angle poise lamp should be. I want for nothing. Well maybe a large vanilla slice, but you can't have it all.
