The End of an Era....

Good Morning,

Well, what do you think? Another new look to celebrate, but also commiserate the end of an era. For you see today is my last day of working exclusively with docrafts. It's been a FANTASTIC time, but it's time to move onto pastures new. There are many reasons for this, most of which are not interesting{!}. It's been a very hard decision for me, but once made, I knew it was the right one.

There are many new and exciting developments for me over the next few weeks, developments which I was hoping to be able to share with you today, but as time seems to move so quickly {is it because I'm getting old?} not all the T's have been crossed and the i's dotted, so I have to wait. I'm so sorry...I can't wait to tell you all!

I will miss dearly many of my colleagues at docrafts, and I would regard many of them as best friends. However of course we will keep in touch, it's just sad to know that I won't see them on a regular basis any more. Onwards and upwards.

Very soon though, I will have new colleagues to get to know, some of which are already friends, and I'm looking forward to working with them too! There's always a silver lining to every cloud!

I would like to thank you all dearly for all your support, well wishes and friendship, as I regard you as my friends too.

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL still be writing my column in Quick Cards Made Easy! x

Well, my honey, you will be a star in whatever you do!

It's been a long time since we both started working for Docrafts, so yes, maybe it is a sign of us getting older.

Fingers crossed that it all works out for you, and you're happy in whatever it is you're upto..

Take care..

Love n hugs, Jo xxx

Hi Clare, wow! I am really sorry to hear and surprised. I hope you are ok. You were a great asset to docrafts and you will be such a huge loss to them. You are very talented and I love your inspirational cards. To me you were docrafts and you made the magazine for me, a magazine to buy and the Creativity Club a club I wanted to be part of with your cards and weekly videos. You made any dull crafting product – inspiring and created a need to buy that product. There will never be another Clare Curd for docrafts in my opinion, you are truly one of a kind and an original. All demonstrators that I have seen stole your ideas from the club and magazine and presented it as theirs which always annoyed me.

At least you had a great platform to launch yourself on with docrafts and are certainly very talented. And this is bringing you new opportunities. I wish you all the success and I will certainly continue to follow your blog and work. (I wish I have half of the success you do, I am trying!)

(lots of things going on in the crafty world – Dawn Bibby leaves QVC)

My spending at least will be considerably less now with docrafts! I look forward to seeing you in your new ventures and to hear your good news when the time is right.

Of to cancel the subscription to Quick Cards made easy…

Hi Clare you will be greatly missed on Docrafts. I loved doing your challenge each week. I enjoy your column in Quick Cards and will enjoy continuing to read it, not sure why Sarpreet is cancelling her subscription to it. I wish you every success in your future venture .

I will definitely keep my subscription to QCME. I was not sure if you would continue to write for them as you were showing cards using docraft products only. So I wasnt sure if that was part of the deal.

will look forward to your work x

(sorry to have made you cry, it is how i genuinely feel, keep smiling, changes are always hard)
