W.O.Y.W.W 100!

Good Morning!

Well, let's just pretend it's Wednesday, shall we?! I did take this photo this morning, but it was left exactly as I left it on Wednesday night, so Im taking the executive decision that it counts into WOYWW. If you haven't heard or joined in with WOYWW, why not visit Julia Dunnit's Blog and see what all the rage is about. Soon it will be two years since Julia started WOYWW, and there's a PIF on week 104, I'll definitely be joining in. Visit her blog for more details.

My desk is a little more interesting than last week's photo, which you can see here. I was working on a Sympathy card last night which I will be posting later, and I think the pink petticoat paper {by my crop-a-dile}is perfect for such a card. There's also the stamped image I used {top right} and the tag punch from EK Success which I used to cut out the greeting. Can you see the blue electrical tape by the punch? I use that ALL the time for sticking down ribbon etc on the underside of my projects, as you can't see it, it's cheap and very strong. The obligatory cup of coffee is strong arming it's way into the picture too. The flowers are {just about} holding out, but will soon be with the florist in the sky I think. I also bought the DREAM word a couple of days ago from TK Maxx, I love it!

Can you also spot the white flowers at the left? I was inspired by someone's WOYWW flowers which I saw last week {I'm really sorry, I looked at so many blogs I can't remember which one it was!} and I was inspired to have a go at what they were doing {Please, if it was YOU, or you know who it was can you let me know so I can credit them?}. They are from Primark as a bracelet, and they were using alcohol inks to colour them and they looked STUNNING! I don't know what I'll do with them yet, but I can't wait to have a play!

Well, that's all for this week! Thanks for visiting, and I look forward to visiting your desk some time soon! x

Hi Clare! I missed visiting you last week, so I'll say welcome aboard the WOYWW train this week instead. It doesn't matter that you've posted Thursday, other than that the poor folk at the end of Mr Linky don't get many visits - so I'm leaving some lurve now. Nice work on your desk, both this week and last.... Love the DREAM sign!

Hi Clare! I've just voted re. the die cutting challenge and then had a good ole nosey round your desk :) Love the pink mat...and I truly thought the cream flowers were soaps (see, I do read your column!). I need to set some time aside to have a good ole mooch round your blog, loads of info here. Posting late for WOYWW shouldn't matter - I respond to all comments first, then blogs that I follow (like yours) and then go to Julia's Mr Linky list. Sometimes I start at the end and work backwards - my surname is at the end of the alphabet so I kinda feel for folk at the end :)) Hugs, Di xx

I can relate to not remembering who had what on their desk ...sometimes I want to say thanks for an idea but have no idea who gave it to me.lol xx

Clare sometimes i dont know which day of the week is which, but i always hop over to WOYWW at some point. I dont think us crafters care when the photo is taken as long as we get a good mooch.
Love your promarker collection as well as your pink mat!

Never too late for a desk shot!
Today I'm loving the clean environment of your desk..mine isn't JUST untidy!! Also the peace love note blocks and the retro postcard tucked away at the back. Were you warned that I'm a professional desk snoop?!!
I love that you've already been inspired by someone else's WOYWW idea - it really is a fascinating journey of inspirational sharing. Oh listen to me!!

I know that Jozart had some bits & bobs from Primark but I don't remember if they were flowers or not. She certainly had charms & coins from a bracelet. Either way, it's a genius idea to get cheapy embelishments!

Had a good snoop at your desk, the pink mat is rather fabulous! I too have an iPhone 4 and an EK photo labels punch on my desk :-)

Hi, Clare!
Thanks for stopping by my WOYWW! Wednesday, Thursday, Friday...I don't think it matters too much when you're sharing your creative spot! Glad you made it. :)

I had to look again to see the 'soaps'! hahaha

Can't wait to see what you do with those...

Hi Clare, it is never late for WOYWW. I hate creating sympathy cards as well. The flowers are fab, i thought they were soaps as well. I like those cat eye ink pads, and I had not spotted those note blocks until Julia mentioned it. I like the ladybird item on our desk. That silver thing on your pink mat - i dont recognise that. But oh my is that promarker looks worn out on the desk. Love your little black box and your workspace. And the two stamsp on your desk - can not really make out what they are. Thank you for sharing your workspace, Happy WOYWW 100! 100 weeks wow, #3
